Arun Kumar Medapati is a highly skilled software product engineering professional and co-founder of I'mNotOut, a sports social networking startup. With over 16 years of experience in the field, Arun has demonstrated a strong history of accepting challenges and solving interesting problems in highly scalable performant distributed systems to client-side mobile/embedded devices. Arun is a passionate and technically proficient professional with an M.Tech in Information Technology from IIT Roorkee. He has complete ownership of the architecture, design, and product development life-cycle of end-to-end technology platforms at I'mNotOut. He also bootstraps, builds, mentors, and leads the product and cross-functional teams aligned with the startup’s business needs. Prior to co-founding I'mNotOut, Arun worked as a Principal Engineer at HGST, a Western Digital brand, where he analyzed, designed, and implemented the I/O scheduling module for high-performance enterprise SSD storage devices. He also worked as a Technical Leader at NDS, where he designed, developed, and integrated modules in the most popular middleware in Set-Top-Boxes, including channel zapping, EPG, and advanced features like recording and playback. Arun's educational background includes an M.Tech in Information Technology from IIT Roorkee and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Information Technology from JNTU. His tech stack includes mobile, senior software engineering, and integration. Arun's current role as a co-founder at I'mNotOut involves empowering the sports community, including athletes, coaches, ambassadors, and hobbyists, with an identity and appreciation from society.
